Antico Borgo San Lorenzo is much more than a collection of facilities suitable for any type of event, but rather an ecosystem aimed at providing tangible solutions to the needs our guests may have. It is from this perspective that the Bandini family’s renovation of the various areas and the very soul of the Borgo over the decades should be viewed and interpreted.  Thanks to this approach, Antico Borgo San Lorenzo is able to guarantee the success of any type of event, whatever the weather  .

indoors and outdoors

Antico Borgo San Lorenzo puts at your disposal a variety of facilities that will adapt to your every need. In fact, the Borgo can accommodate up to 52 people and offers indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
The indoor spaces, ideal in the colder seasons, are the Restaurant and the splendid Hall of Mirrors; the outdoor spaces, ideal for the warmer seasons, can be ‘en plein air’ or covered.

The open-air spaces include the Antica Corte in the heart of the Borgo, the paved area around the swimming pool and all the grassy areas with their splendid views of the hills around Siena. Thanks to the recent renovation of the old manger, the Borgo now has a covered outdoor area. This additional infrastructure will allow you, should bad weather threaten your event, to stay outdoors but in a covered space without having to hire expensive marquees.

Restaurant

a journey through flavours

Restaurant ‘Casa Bandini’ represents the heart of Antico Borgo San Lorenzo. The restaurant’s cuisine is well known and highly appreciated because it offers unique dishes prepared according to old traditional recipes, rediscovering the ‘flavours of the past’. The restaurant is perfect for spending a pleasant evening with family or friends, but also for organising events, parties and ceremonies as it can accommodate up to 50 people.

There is a large, free, attended car park available to guests which can also be used by buses. 
Tastings of typical local products and wines and cookery courses for small groups can be organised on request.
A perfect mix of taste and tradition that will seduce even the most demanding palates. 

Pool

relaxation and fun

The Borgo’s swimming pool, measuring 16 x 8 metres and ranging in height from 140 to 190 cm, offers a splendid view of the Tuscan hills.  Sangiovese vineyards, broom bushes, lavender and dog roses, these are the colours and scents that will envelop you.
Behind you, looking towards the village, you will find a delightful natural cave made of ancient limestone sediments.

Our swimming pool will be the ideal place to regenerate after visiting the surroundings, to sip a glass of wine or to organise parties and receptions with a tiled solarium area of 300 square metres.
On request, guests can also bathe at night in a romantic and atmospheric setting.

For all services that we do not offer directly as accommodation,  for example: Photographs, Video maker. DJs, we will put you in touch with the best professionals in the area, so that nothing is left to chance and everything lives up to your expectations.
