Antico Borgo San Lorenzo is a complex located a few kilometres from San Gimignano. The establishment has been restored maintaining the original charm of the building. The old farmhouse, pigsty, hayloft, barn and manor house are now elegant residences where you can spend relaxing days between a walk in Siena and a visit to Florence.

The love for our territory and its traditions has given birth to the Azienda Agricola Antico Borgo San Lorenzo, which completes our journey into the world of Tuscan flavours that began with the Ristorante Casa Bandini. Discover the typical delicacies we produce, such as olive oil and wine, which bring goodness, authenticity and taste to your table. At ‘Casa Bandini’ restaurant you can rediscover the flavours of the past by tasting the specialities of Tuscan cuisine made according to old recipes.

Tuscany is a land to be experienced. The diversity of its landscapes, the uniqueness of its culture and its long history have made it unparalleled in the world and home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Florence and the Medici villas, Pienza, Val d’Orcia, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa.

Happy hour in Siena

Afternoon tour for small groups, lasting about an hour and a half, to start familiarising yourself with Siena, at the end of which you will enjoy a refreshing toscano aperitif

A 8 km trek providing the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beautiful countryside of the Crete Senesi to discover the famous white truffle

Tour of about 6 hours to get to know two pearls of Tuscany: Siena and San Gimignano and experience unforgettable emotions.

Our guests

We stayed for 4 days in this corner of paradise, very quiet and relaxing. We had an
apartment, located near the church with a beautiful view of the hills. The flats are comfortable, tastefully furnished and equipped. The breakfast was divine, despite the fact that there was no buffet (due to covid). The staff are very friendly and competent. The swimming pool (like everything else is wonderful). Not to be overlooked is the short distance to San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Certaldo and other beautiful places to visit.

We spent a holiday in a place steeped in history and immersed in tranquillity, the village fully represents the land of Chianti. We were able to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool, the delicious breakfasts and the excellent dishes in the restaurant ‘Casa Bandini’. In addition, our carefully designed ‘Lilac’ room gave a fairy-tale feel to our stay.

Surrounded by verdant natural landscapes and pampered by the hosts who welcomed us as if we were family, we savoured every moment as if it were a wonderful gift. We were only supposed to stay one night, but we were so enchanted by the place that we stayed for another 2 nights. There is great attention to detail in the rooms which are quiet with comfortable beds, the swimming pool is surrounded by nature, the church inside the property provides serenity and peace.
Thank you very much, it was a wonderful stay that we will never forget!!! We will definitely come back to see you!!!

I stayed in this beautiful place for 3 nights because I was in the area for work, although during the day I was busy with work in the evening the pool was the perfect place to relax and totally disconnect. The view is truly amazing and the restaurant service allows you to sip a glass of wine in the middle of the Sienese hills.
Although the room was not huge, it was very clean and the shower was comfortable, the renovation of the old village has ensured that all the historical features have remained intact.
The jewel in the crown is the small pre-11th century church inside the complex.
The courtesy of the owners certainly ensured that all my needs were catered for, I will definitely be returning there with friends.
